We Are Hiring: Homecare Worker / Caregiver
A&A Compassionate Homecare Services – Calgary NW
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Homecare Worker to provide high-quality care for a fragile senior client in Calgary NW.
Position Details:
- Be able to work 4-6 shifts per week ( 3 hours shifts).
- Shift times: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Be able to work at least 1 full day per week
- Be able to work 1 weekend day per week.
- Starting rate: $20 per hour
- Shift times are flexible based on mutual agreement
Requirements:
- Have or obtain a HCA (Health Care Aid Certificate).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must drive to client’s home)
- Must be able to provide a Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid / CPR is an asset
- Previous caregiving experience is an asset
- RN or healthcare background is an asset
- A genuine caring personality with real attention to detail and patience
Duties Include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Light meal preparation and feeding
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and emotional support
- Aiding the client in physical exercises.
This role requires someone who is truly dedicated to providing gentle, respectful, and attentive care to a senior who needs reliable support.
