Job Tile –Full time Allergy Clinic Nurse- RPN
Work Days - Monday- Friday (8:15am- 4:45pm)
Responsibilities
- Patient history and assessment
- Pulmonary function testing
- Patient education
- Administration of allergy injections
- Reconstitution and administration of biologic therapy injections
- Management of anaphylaxis
- Nursing documentation
- Management and coordination of patient visits
- Receiving and managing drug shipment
- Provide telephone advice to external healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Willing to work in a fast-paced busy setting
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large patient load
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
- Valid registration with College of Nurses (RPN)
- Up to date CPR certificate
Experience
- Experience in clinic setting an asset
- Experience in allergy a definite asset
