Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for specialized cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed
- Conduct facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or equipment upkeep to ensure optimal operation
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled periods
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and supplies after use
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address specific cleaning needs or concerns
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and facilities maintenance is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving supplies or equipment up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
