Duties
- Assist in the installation of roofing systems, including metal roofing.
- Perform repairs on existing roofs by identifying issues and applying appropriate solutions.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and materials properly.
- Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction work.
- Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans effectively.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and safety protocols.
