Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Climbing Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for residential Tree work through out Victoria working safely. Candidates should be proficient in Spurless climbing, rigging, tree pruning and removals. Not necessary but an asset is some Bucket truck experience. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Pruning and removing tree's using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment, following safety regulations
- Operate equipment as needed
- Conduct work in a safe manner
- Implement safety procedures during all operations to protect team members and the public
- Meet with customers
- Maintain equipment, tools, and safety gear in excellent condition
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale arboricultural projects and site assessments
Skills
- Dedicated team worker
- Spurless Climbing experience
- Strong understanding in safe work regulations for Tree Work
- Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe tree removal and pruning
- Experience with bucket operation and bucket truck handling for elevated work
- Strong understanding of arboricultural practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assessing tree health
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
