Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders promptly, and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Proficient in using Positouch POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers.
