Job Overview
Are you a natural leader who knows Winnipeg construction and the difference between a starter strip and a J-channel? We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to lead our Siding Division. In this role, you won't just be sitting behind a desk—you will be the heartbeat of our jobsites, ensuring our crews are motivated, our quality remains top-notch, and our projects run like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities
● Morning Kick-Offs: Lead morning huddles to get crews started efficiently, delegate daily targets, and ensure everyone understands their objectives for the day.
● Scope Alignment: Walk through project blueprints and specifications with crews to ensure they fully understand the scope of work before installation begins.
● Quality Control: Conduct rigorous daily inspections of ongoing and completed siding work to maintain our company's reputation for flawless craftsmanship.
● Team Synergy: Monitor site dynamics, ensure crews are working collaboratively and safely, and step in to resolve any conflicts or bottleneck issues.
● Timeline Management: Monitor project progress, manage timelines around local weather conditions, and communicate updates regularly with the office.
● Safety Enforcement: Ensure all on-site operations strictly comply with Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
● Estimation Training: Shadow senior leadership to learn our project estimating process, eventually taking on material take-offs and job costing responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
● Experience: 3+ years of experience in siding installation (vinyl, fiber cement/Hardie,
engineered wood, metal, etc.) with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory, foreman, or management role.
● Leadership: Proven ability to manage crews, keep morale high, and command respect on the job site.
● Communication: Clear, direct verbal and written communication skills.
● Local Expertise: Sound understanding of how Manitoba’s seasonal climate shifts affect siding materials and installation practices.
● Growth Mindset: Strong math/numerical skills and a keen interest in learning the financial and estimating side of the construction business.
● Requirements: Valid Manitoba driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
