Job Title: Retail Store Manager (Floral Shop)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our floral shop. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and organizational skills to ensure a high-quality customer experience while driving sales and maintaining efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and fulfill floral orders, including bouquets, wreaths, and custom arrangements
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and overall profitability
- Execute marketing campaigns to promote the shop and its products
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain adequate stock
- Manage waste and ensure efficient use of materials
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including stocking, ordering, invoice review, and staff supervision
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and manage employee performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
- Ensure exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with regulations
- Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak floral seasons (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Ideally 2 years of experience in the floral industry
- Strong knowledge of or willingness to learn floral design and plant care
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with inventory management and supply ordering
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
Experience:
- Floral: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
- French
