Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review with management any requests for extras
1. Review all scopes of work for subcontractors
2. Review and approve all progress summaries at the time of invoicing
3. Review plans, specifications and finishing schedules and provide value engineering direction.
4. Participate in best practice plannings, process, policies and standards for site planning and construction.
5. Review and update the construction schedule as required.
6. Develop & Implement site strategies to ensure that site activities occur on time as per schedule and undertaking regular site inspections making sure that the trades, subtrades, and supplier are working on time and at a premium level of quality and workmanship
7. Prevent any complications on site before they occur. Prepare a construction site management plan including locations for the delivery and storage of equipment and materials, traffic flow, and any other information required by local and provincial authorities. Manage & Mitigate risks on and associated with the site.
8. Implement adherence to construction site safety standards, Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times for all staff (Occupational Health and Safety Act) and provide the latest Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation book (the “Green Book”).
9. Communicate with a ride range of people including the Company, Project Management Company, subcontractors, suppliers, and the city officials for inspections of the site..
10. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
11. Work tools, materials, and equipment are to be maintained, tracked, and inventoried.
12. Manage all daily progress and ensure the daily reports, photos, and logs are being updated daily by the site team.
13. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
14. Participate in the resolution of conflict & crisis management.
15. Undertake and complete any and all directions from the Owner and/or project management company associated with the project construction and/or any related tasks associated with Mutual Gain Project Management Inc. (MGPMI)
16. Ensure the site office is clean and maintained with all safety and construction documentation. Ensure all construction drawings are current and available for the use of the site team & contractors. Ensure shop drawings, scopes of work, and site instructions are available and printed in the site office.
17. The employee is to keep and maintain company history of correspondence. At no point shall the employee dispose of company records or documents
Qualifications
- 5 Years of Site Supervision Experience
- CPR and First Aid certifications;
- Must have and maintain a valid Ontario driver’s license;
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; MS Project

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay: $130,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
