Are you ready to join the ultimate party scene? Déjà Vu Bar & Karaoke is seeking energetic and enthusiastic waitress/ waiter to join our team. As a Server, you’ll play a key role in delivering an unforgettable karaoke experience for our guests. Your duties will include:
Duties
- Taking and processing food and drink orders.
- Serving meals and beverages with a smile.
- Maintaining a clean and organised service area.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure top-notch service.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assist with setting up and managing special events or themed nights.
- Help monitor and restock supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Smart Serve Certification: Smart Serve certification is mandatory.
- Previous Experience: Experience in a restaurant or bar setting is an asset.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for providing high-quality customer service.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members.
- Adaptability: Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during busy karaoke nights.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and potentially late nights as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and carrying trays of food and drinks.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage plus tips.
- Tips are pooled and fairly distributed among all staff based on hours worked and roles.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
