Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and organizing tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying out basic tasks such as mixing materials or assembling components
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris, sweeping work areas, and disposing of waste properly
- Load and unload equipment, supplies, or materials as directed by supervisors
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision to support project needs
- Perform routine inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to follow instructions carefully
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining workflow continuity
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labour is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to manual labour roles
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
