We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Mix ingredients to create classic cocktails and innovative drinks based on customer requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol consumption.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Skills
- Strong background in the food industry with experience in food service preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing orders efficiently.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail.
