Bakery Delivery Driver (Early Morning Shift)

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Delivery Driver to join our team at Boulangerie La Vendéenne, a French artisan bakery known for quality and tradition. This is an early morning position, starting as early as 4:00 AM on Saturday mornings. Days off Sundays and Mondays. As a bakery delivery driver you will see changes to your schedule based on customer orders and peak seasons. January-May hours for delivering may decrease. Work elsewhere in the bakery can be found to accommodate full-time year employment. This position is for local areas Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Bridgewater and Liverpool but HRM and Annapolis Valley areas my be required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Slice, pack, and label baked goods with care and accuracy, when needed
- Load baked goods, pastries, and frozen items for delivery
- Deliver to local retailers and customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Pick up ingredients and supplies from various wholesale suppliers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery area and vehicle
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of outgoing orders
- communicate with manager about logistical issues and customer recommendations.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must be legal to work in Canada LMIA is NOT available for this position
- Valid NS driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced hot environment
- Knowledge of HRM, Annapolis Valley and Local areas
