Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Duncor Enterprises Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting materials essential for our road construction projects. We are looking for AZ Drivers to drive various trucks, including dump trucks, tanker support trucks, asphalt distributors, and live bottoms. Your expertise will contribute to our mission to maintain high standards in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, deliveries, and pickups as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and material needs.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. AZ Drivers needed.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the province during the week, overnight stays required.
- Flexible and adaptable to drive a variety of trucks as the company requires.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.
