Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder apprentices to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. This is a night Shift position we are looking for.
Duties:
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks.
- Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to weld or join metal components.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
- Conduct repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand tools and welding equipment such as calipers, plasma cutters, power tools.
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations.
