We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a key member of our team, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently preparing and serving drinks. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using strong time management skills.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change.
- Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and making accurate change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable by local regulations).
- Valid Serving It Right (SIR) Certificate (required)
- FoodSafe Level 1 preferred
