Compensation: Hourly wage plus sales commission and performance bonuses
About the Position
CA‑Mart is hiring a confident, energetic and results-driven salesperson to serve in-store customers, manage Facebook Marketplace leads and create engaging social-media content.
This is not a passive customer-service position. We need someone who can start conversations, understand customer needs, overcome objections, follow up and confidently close sales.
Responsibilities
* Sell smartphones, accessories, warranties and repair services
* Assist customers in-store and provide excellent service
* Post and manage Facebook Marketplace listings
* Respond to online inquiries within five minutes during working hours
* Convert Marketplace inquiries into store visits and completed sales
* Follow up with every interested customer
* Contact previous customers to generate repeat business
* Create short, engaging videos for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
* Demonstrate phones, accessories, promotions and repair services on camera
* Help develop creative, attention-grabbing content ideas
* Keep listings, photos, prices and inventory information updated
* Record leads, follow-ups, bookings and completed sales
* Submit a brief performance report before finishing each shift

* Confident, charming and persuasive personality
* Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera
* Professional, stylish and well-presented
* Strong communication and customer-service skills
* Experienced with Facebook Marketplace and social media
* Able to create energetic, entertaining and professional videos
* Comfortable approaching customers and asking for the sale
* Reliable, punctual, accountable and self-motivated
* Able to work independently without constant supervision
* Smartphone, electronics or retail sales experience is preferred
* Video editing experience is an asset
Performance Expectations
* Consistent phone, accessory and repair-service sales
* Fast responses to Marketplace inquiries
* Complete follow-up on every qualified lead
* Regular social-media content creation
* Accurate daily tracking of leads and conversions
* Achievement of agreed weekly and monthly sales targets
Schedule
* Full-time hours
* Must be available for some evenings and weekends
* In-person position at our Welland store
