Job Summary
The Shop Technician supports the Station Manager / Shop Foreman in maintaining, inspecting, and preparing critical safety equipment for field operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for client use, while also maintaining the facility, company property, and vehicles to company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate daily tasks and priorities with the Shop Foreman or designate

Prepare equipment for outgoing rentals and receive returned equipment

Clean, test, inspect, and inventory equipment; report missing or damaged items

Calibrate and bump test rental gas detectors

Operate breathing air compressors safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Clean client respirators according to manufacturer requirements

Assist customers and other team members as required

Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or management
Required Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

GHS, TDG, Emergency First Aid / CPR certification

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
