Overall Responsibility:
This position is responsible for the assembly of industrial and electrical control systems for custom applications.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Assembles equipment according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and test equipment.
Possesses good manual dexterity for assembling and wiring of control panels, and ability to safely connect, power and functionally test assemblies with low to high voltage.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Interpretation of customer requirements, project related drawings and specifications.
Support the team by continuously developing knowledge in own area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous panel building experience an asset
Previous electrical and controls experience or training an asset.
Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage daily workloads effectively and identify and prioritize issues of an urgent nature with ease.
Effective organizational skills for documentation and record keeping.
Able to work in a team environment and be self-directed when required.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be fluent in reading speaking and writing in English.
Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
