Job description
Kruger Packaging L.P., Brampton Plant is state-of-the-art 300,000-sq. ft. facility manufacturing 100% recycled linerboard and corrugated cardboard. We also manufacture containers for food, beverages, dairy products and meat, fruit, vegetables, flowers, chemicals, textiles, clothing, and industrial products. Superior quality is maintained by using a sophisticated computer system with advanced order entry. Our plant is HACCP Certified (Food Safety).
We are currently seeking entry level Production employees for our plant.
The candidate must meet production requirements. He/she must demonstrate versatility, initiative and be a strong team player. Requirements:
- A high school diploma or an equivalency certificate.
- Basic understanding of personal computers. ·
- Minimum of 1 year Forklift operating experience (preferred).
- Flexo Printing Die cutting experience is an asset.
- Ability to adapt to changes.
- Familiarity in the corrugated box fabrication is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude.
Working conditions
Weekly rotating shifts, 40 hours a week, must be available days, afternoons, and nights. Remuneration: $27.37/ hourly plus a premium rate when working evenings or nights.
Shifts: Must be able to work all 3 shifts (rotates weekly)
- Morning shift is schedule from 6:30am to 2:30pm
- Afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:30pm to 10:30pm
- Night shift is scheduled from 10:30pm to 6:30am (starts Sunday nights at 10:30pm)
