Camp Muskoka is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. This position works directly alongside the Facility Manager to help maintain our beautiful camp property, buildings, and equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will assist with a variety of daily tasks, including:
- Lawn care and grass cutting.
- Emptying indoor and outdoor garbage and recycling bins.
- General housekeeping of buildings and common areas.
- Repairing and replacing beds, shelving, furniture, and other camp equipment.
- Assisting with preventative maintenance on camp facilities.
- Performing weekly maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Maintaining equipment, including tractors, lawn mowers, skid steers, and other small engines.
- Greasing and servicing equipment on a regular schedule.
- Keeping the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized.
- Assisting with special projects as assigned by the Facility Manager.
- Following all safety procedures and helping maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements
- Valid G driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Previous maintenance, landscaping, construction, or property maintenance experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
