Main Purpose/Scope:
Reporting to the Marketing Supervisor, this position coordinates day-to-day marketing initiatives that support the Foundation's strategic communications and brand.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and maintain the marketing calendar under the direction of the Marketing Supervisor

Provide day-to-day oversight and support to the Social Media Clerk, including:
-
Preparing and coordinating work schedule for review and approval by the Marketing Supervisor
-
Reviewing social media content submissions and blog articles before forwarding them to the Marketing Supervisor for final review and approval
-
Create and maintain website content
-
Coordinate lodge newsletter review and distribution
-
Create marketing and communications content, including but not limited to:
-
Attending activities and events at Foundation facilities
-
Capturing high-quality photography and videography
-
Editing photographs and video content
-
Producing promotional videos and multimedia content
-
Creating content for social media platforms and the Foundation website
-
Writing blog articles, website content, and press releases.

Advertisements and signage
-
Event promotional materials
-
Special Projects as required
-
Monitor online presence and respond to or escalate issues as appropriate to Marketing Supervisor

Format and design reports, presentations, and other corporate documents

Submit all marketing materials, communications, social media content, website updates, and publications to the Marketing Supervisor for review and approval prior to the publication or distribution

Job Specifications:
Education/Training:
-
Diploma or degree in marketing, new media, communications, or a related field is preferred
Experience:
- Experience in high-quality photography and videography
-
Experience with graphic design and video editing software
-
Experience creating digital marketing and communications materials
-
Experience managing websites and social media platforms
Skills/Knowledge:
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud
-
Strong photography and videography skills
-
Above average attention to detail
-
Above average verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent computer skills
Abilities:

Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment

Ability to deal with administration, management, co-workers, and external contacts in a courteous and respectful manner

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Requirements:

Complete work-related training as required
-
Support and adhere to all current and future Foundation policies and procedures
-
Support and adhere to all federal and provincial legislation as it applies to the Foundation
-
Participate in regularly scheduled administration meetings
-
Comply with dress and grooming policy to project and maintain a professional image
-
Mobility to work in multi-story building and physical stamina to lift and carry up to 10 kgs
Specific Requirements:
- Current and ongoing satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Valid Class 5 driver's license
-
Current satisfactory driver's abstract required

Current claims experience letter
-
First Aid certification may be required, as per First Aid policy
