Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper to assist with daily shop operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean and organized work environment, support technicians or tradespeople, handle materials and tools, and perform general labor tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily shop operations and production activities.
- Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Load, unload, and move materials, supplies, and products.
- Support shop staff with assembly, preparation, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform general labor duties and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous shop, warehouse, or labor experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Working Conditions
