Are you passionate about music education? Sweet Music Lessons, an East end Toronto music school, is seeking a dedicated part-time piano teacher to join our team to teach families in the Danforth / Riverdale / Leslieville / Woodbine neighbourhoods of Toronto in September 2026.
About Us: Sweet Music Lessons specializes in providing private, weekly in-home lessons in the neighbourhoods of Danforth, Riverdale, Leslieville, and the Beach. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love for music in our students.
Position: Part-Time Piano Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging piano lessons to students of all ages
- Teach technique, repertoire, and musical theory
- Personalize lessons based on each student’s preferences and goals
- Foster a fun and supportive learning environment
- Respond promptly to emails and maintain organized communication
- Travel to students’ homes for in-person lessons
- Commit to at least one year with our school
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in piano instruction (additional instruments such as voice, guitar, or ukulele are assets)
- RCM and Suzuki piano training are preferred not always required
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with children
- Reliable, organized, and professional
