Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations while leading a small team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who is comfortable operating forklifts when needed, driving operational improvements, and supporting office-related warehouse functions.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with practical warehouse experience to ensure efficient operations, maintain inventory accuracy, improve processes, and contribute to overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a small warehouse team, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts as required to support daily operations.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff while promoting a positive team environment.
- Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
- Support office-related warehouse administration, reporting, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
- Work closely with management to support operational goals and overall business performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience coordinating warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable performing both hands-on warehouse work and administrative responsibilities.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and warehouse documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
