Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to concrete construction, including forming, finishing, and restoration. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects
- Install rebar and other reinforcements as required for structural integrity
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while meeting quality standardsSkills
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools
- Proficiency in rebar installation techniques
- Experience in carpentry for formwork construction
- Knowledge of restoration processes for existing structures
- Competence in concrete forming techniques for various applications
- Understanding of construction principles and practices
- Proficient in using power tools safely on job sites
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project plans accurately
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties
