Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our Talavera team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of mexican baked goods like bread, pastries, and desserts, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch. The Baker will also manage inventory, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow food safety standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of products, including bread, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the kitchen environment.
- Follow recipes and ensure consistent product quality.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Package baked goods for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of baking area.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Familiarity in cooking, baking and pastries decor techniques.
