<Responsibilities>
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces spotless and safe.
- Maintain public areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces by ensuring they are tidy, organized, and inviting.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure quick resolution and continuous quality standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products efficiently to support smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all hotel policies related to cleanliness, safety, and guest privacy while delivering friendly service with a positive attitude.
- Perform guest rooms inspections in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager as well as during busy periods
- Supervisor hours would be 2 days a week minimum.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet extraction.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or custodial experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
- Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential.
