Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The bartender will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and processing transactions
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, tools, and glassware in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest intoxication levels
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shifts
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in restaurant or bar settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing tabs
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements for alcohol service
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
