Duties
- Travel to clients’ locations to provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Perform various massage modalities including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, anatomy, physiology, and self-care practices
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress and session notes
- Ensure a safe, hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and using proper equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and customize treatments accordingly
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist in Nova Scotia
- Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and occupational health practices
- Strong understanding of physiology and pain management techniques
- Experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred
- Ability to travel independently within designated service areas and maintain flexible scheduling
