We're an upscale wine and cheese lounge in downtown Perth, focused on a small, seasonal menu built around shared boards, elevated bar bites, and a few standout mains. We're looking for someone who takes pride in consistency and clean execution, and who wants to grow with a kitchen that's still building its systems and its team.
What you'll do:
- Execute prep lists accurately and on schedule (sauces, doughs, proteins, garnishes)
- Work the line during service, maintaining pace and plate consistency
- Follow recipes and portioning standards precisely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe station
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team during service
- Help maintain inventory and flag low stock to the kitchen lead
What we're looking for:
- Prior line cook or prep experience in a restaurant kitchen (fine dining or scratch-kitchen experience an asset)
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
- A genuine interest in food quality and craft — this isn't a high-volume flip-and-go kitchen
