Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of guest accommodations, from initial arrival to final departure. You will act as the face of our hotel, ensuring a pleasant, memorable, and seamless experience for every visitor.Key Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks efficiently.
- Manage online, phone, and walk-in reservations accurately.
- Verify guest registration data and payment methods.
- Process bills, collect payments, and balance cash drawers daily.
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and rates.
- Provide local recommendations for dining, attractions, and transport.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues calmly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
- Operate the hotel switchboard and route incoming calls correctly.
- Promote and upsell hotel packages or room upgrades when relevant.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and alert under high-pressure conditions.
- Basic accounting skills for managing cash banks and shift balances.
- Multilingual skills are considered a major asset.
Physical Demands & Work Schedule
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Occasional lifting or handling of guest luggage.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
