Job Summary
We are seeking experienced SPRAT Level 2 or SPRAT Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing safe and efficient rope access inspections, window cleaning and caulking in challenging environments, primarily within the window cleaning industry. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging, mechanical systems, and the operation of various tools and heavy equipment. Candidates must hold valid SPRAT certification levels 2 or 3 and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rope access inspections, maintenance on skyscrapers in Ottawa
- Set up and inspect rigging systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment using mechanical knowledge.
- Follow all safety protocols related to working at heights, confined spaces, and hazardous environments.
- Document work performed accurately and report any safety concerns or anomalies to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid SPRAT Level 2 or SPRAT Level 3 certification with proof of current certification status.
- Experience in rigging, mechanical systems
- Proficiency with cleaning windows
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working in hazardous environments such as oil & gas facilities or industrial sites.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks in challenging conditions; ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in rope access operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
