Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Assist with tasks during loading and unloading processes to ensure cargo integrity
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during interactions with clients
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul routes
- Strong customer service skills to handle client interactions positively
- Physical strength for driver assists if need
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination
- Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding loading/unloading procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery, driving, and warehouse operations
