Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis (professional cleanings) and periodontal assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, following safety protocols
- Taking Itero scans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to improve their dental health outcomes
- Assist in patient education about orthodontics, pediatrics, and other specialized treatments as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as CLEARDENT
- Support the dental team with assisting during procedures, sterilization, and chairside support
- Communicate clearly with patients in multiple languages if bilingual skills are available, ensuring they understand treatment options and instructions
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment, preferably with pediatric or orthodontic cases
- Proficiency with CLEARDENT or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations
- Experience in dental assisting or supporting orthodontic treatments is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader community effectively

Pay: $45.00-$51.00 per hour
