Oxford Dodge is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping people, have excellent communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want a career with room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a vital role in creating outstanding customer experiences while helping connect customers with our sales team.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound interest leads promplty and professionally.
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Follow up with customers through phone, email, and text messaging.
- Scheduling appointments for the sales team.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and reduce no-shows.
- Re-engage previous customers regarding vehicle inquiries and dealership promotions.
- Conduct follow-up calls after showroom visits.
- Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM system.
- Build rapport with customers while identifying their vehicle needs.
- Coordinate with Sales Managers and Product Advisors to maximize opportunties.
- Manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously while maintaining excellent service.
- Ensure every customer recieves timely communcation.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals.
- Participate in dealership meetings and ongoing training.
- Assist with customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Support marketing campaigns through customer outreach.
- Handle objections professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and personable
- Professional on the phone
- Highly Organized
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Able to multitask efficiently
- Detail oriented
- Passionate about helping customers
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to learn dealership software and CRM systems
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone throughout the day
- Professional email etiquette
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Ontario G Drivers License
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
