Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of machinery, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, flexo presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
- Perform setup and adjustments on machines as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications for production.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the fabrication of parts using hand tools and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
- Participate in quality control inspections to meet production standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum three year experience operating metal fabrication machinery preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Proficient with precision measuring tools and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and performing repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
