Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible and caring Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team. This role involves providing attentive and reliable pet care services to clients’ furry friends, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Duties
- Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Feed pets according to owners’ instructions and provide fresh water
- Administer medication or special care as needed, following specific guidelines
- Monitor pets’ behavior and health during visits, reporting any concerns to owners or management
- Maintain a clean and safe environment during pet care visits
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and well-being
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of pets, clients, and yourself
Qualifications
- Professional dog walking experience (1 year or more)
- Dog Walker/Pet Sitter permit (Toronto) is required
- Professional pet care training /pet first aid certification is mandatory
- Must have a driving license and vehicle to travel within the city
- Passion for animals with a genuine love for caring for pets
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible with the ability to work independently
- Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments safely
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety standards

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
