The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, health and safety, and HR compliance. This role partners with employees and management to support business objectives, foster employee engagement, and ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle & Talent Management
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Payroll, Attendance & Benefits
- Process and reconcile attendance and payroll data for salaried, hourly, and temporary employees.
- Administer punch card and biometric timekeeping systems.
- Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and reporting.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including preparation of payroll records, statutory reporting, leave reconciliations, and employee tax documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing HR, payroll, benefits, and employee-related documentation and reports.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Coordinate and administer employee probationary review processes, including tracking evaluation timelines, collecting feedback, and supporting employment status recommendations.
- Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee performance concerns, disciplinary matters, investigations, and corrective action processes.
- Support employee relations activities and issue resolution.
- Coordinate performance appraisal and annual salary review processes.
Health & Safety
- Support workplace health and safety programs, training, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Assist with incident investigations.
- Conduct monthly workplace health and safety inspections, document findings, track corrective actions, and follow up to ensure timely resolution of identified hazards and compliance issues.
HR Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data and HR records.
- Generate regular and ad hoc HR reports and workforce metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Statutory Compliance
- Manage compliance and be complied with the legislation.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and recommend policy updates.
HR Administration & Systems
- Maintain employee records, HRIS, SharePoint, and personnel documentation.
- Prepare employment-related letters, forms, and reports.
- Support day-to-day HR administrative activities.
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
