Job Description
Town Car Rental is seeking a motivated Web Developer with strong SEO experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our website to improve user experience, search engine rankings, and overall online visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the company website
- Optimize website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness
- Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings
- Conduct keyword research and on-page/off-page SEO optimization
- Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) and provide performance reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues/bugs
- Ensure website security and perform regular updates/backups
- Collaborate with management on marketing and online booking features
- Stay current with web development trends, SEO best practices, and algorithm updates
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; WordPress or similar CMS experience an asset)
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly website design
- Basic knowledge of website hosting, domains, and backend management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Prior experience in the car rental, travel, or hospitality industry is an asset but not required
