Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Installer to join our construction team. This role involves the precise installation of kitchen cabinets and related cabinetry components, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within residential and commercial settings, contributing to the transformation of interior spaces with expert cabinet installation.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately execute cabinet layouts.
- Measure and mark installation points to ensure precise placement of cabinets according to design specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install cabinets securely on walls or floors.
- Perform related tasks such as leveling, caulking, sealing, and finishing to achieve a professional appearance.
- Assist in the preparation of work sites by clearing debris, protecting surfaces, and setting up necessary equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate installation planning.
- Extensive experience with cabinetry installation, carpentry, woodworking, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction practices including concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, rebar installation, and flooring installation is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, electrical experience, plumbing knowledge, and general handyman skills is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting during installations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
