Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, expertly mixing drinks, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage safety standards, efficient time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The bartender will be responsible for serving drinks, managing cash and POS transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Use POS systems for order entry and payment processing with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cash register operations and credit card transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol consumption.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cocktail bar in Toronto is a must.
- Deep knowledge of classics, trends and new spirits.
- Established network of industry pears and brands ambassador.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for managing tabs, tips, and change.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Previous serving or food handling experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided if necessary.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
