Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Campus Director to lead the daily operations of our Toronto Campus. This leadership position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in salon management, team leadership, business operations, and customer service. The Campus Director is responsible for creating an exceptional experience for students, staff, and clients while ensuring the campus operates efficiently, meets enrollment and sales goals, and maintains the highest standards of education and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the campus, student salon, and front office to ensure an exceptional experience for students, clients, and visitors.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support educators, licensed professionals, administrative staff, and front desk teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Drive student recruitment through campus tours, consultations, presentations, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Support the admissions process, including student registrations, orientations, funding guidance, and retention initiatives.
- Monitor campus performance by tracking enrollment, service, retail, productivity, and operational goals while implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Manage salon operations, including service standards, retail sales, inventory control, client satisfaction, and promotional initiatives.
- Foster a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment that promotes student success and employee engagement.
- Recruit, train, onboard, evaluate, and develop campus staff while maintaining high performance and accountability standards.
- Oversee staff scheduling, workflow management, and campus coverage to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Resolve escalated student, client, and employee concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Private Career College regulations, licensing requirements, health and safety legislation, and all operational standards.
- Monitor attendance, payroll submissions, reporting, budgeting, and other administrative processes to support accurate and efficient campus operations.
- Collaborate closely with Head Office and other Marca College campuses to maintain consistency, share best practices, and achieve company objectives.
- Serve as the campus leader by promoting Marca College's values, maintaining a positive campus culture, and driving excellence in education, customer service, and business performance.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Hairstylist registered with Skilled Trades Ontario (STO)
- Proven experience as a Salon Manager, Campus Manager, Assistant Campus Manager, or Senior Stylist in a leadership role
- Strong background in hairstyling, sales, client consultations, and retail performance
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and manage teams
- Experience overseeing day-to-day campus operations and multi-department environments
- Comfortable commuting between locations as required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week
- Schedule will vary based on campus and salon operational needs
- Ability to commute between campuses
