Saturday Cleaner – School & Church
Pay: CA$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description
Red Door Cleaning is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner for a consistent Saturday position at a busy school and church facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already works during the week and is looking for steady additional income every Saturday.
The shift is every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, so we are looking for someone who can commit to this schedule consistently and is looking for a long-term position.
About the Role
You will be responsible for cleaning various areas throughout the school and church, including:
- Offices
- Classrooms
- Washrooms
- Hallways and common areas
- Church and gathering spaces
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
- Garbage and recycling removal
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Restocking washrooms and other areas as required
This is a large, active facility and there may occasionally be events, sports, church activities or other people in the building while you are working. You must be comfortable cleaning around other people while remaining focused on your responsibilities.
You will be expected to work independently for much of your shift, manage your assigned areas and complete your work to Red Door Cleaning standards.
Training will be provided on the facility, cleaning procedures and any equipment you will be required to use.

Requirements
- Must be available every Saturday from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Must be able to follow cleaning procedures and company systems
- Must be comfortable working around children, families, staff and other members of the public
- Must pass a criminal record check
- Must have WHMIS certification or be willing to obtain it
