BESTAR SERVICE CCA LTD. is hiring full-time 5-Ton Truck Drivers for local pickup and delivery work in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Applicants must be able to communicate clearly in spoken Mandarin, as Mandarin is used for daily communication with dispatch and the warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete local pickups and deliveries, including Amazon-related freight, throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- Load and unload freight as required
- Confirm deliveries, obtain signatures and complete shipping documents accurately
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or safety concerns
- Drive safely and follow all traffic, company and customer requirements
- Provide professional and reliable service to customers
Qualifications:
- Spoken Mandarin is required
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence is required
- Air Brake / Q Endorsement is preferred
- Previous 5-ton truck driving experience is strongly preferred
- Logistics, pickup and delivery experience is an asset
- Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding routes
- Functional English for road signs, delivery documents and customer communication
- Able to assist with loading and unloading freight
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide a current driver’s abstract upon request
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting at $22.00 per hour
- Higher pay is negotiable based on directly relevant experience
