Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models using advanced tools and schematics.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, identify necessary repairs, and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed service records, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and keep the work area organized and clean.
Skills
- Proven automotive repair experience demonstrating mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills.
- Strong familiarity with schematics, assembly processes, and the use of diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance-related hardware.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Experience reading technical schematics and working with automotive repair manuals is highly preferred.
