Summer Student-laborer/Groundskeeper / Required St. Albert
Located at the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert Banquet Centre and RV Park, the individual in the
Groundskeeper Summer Student role will report to the RV managers. The work schedule will be Monday
through Friday, 8 hours a day. May be occasional weekend work.
During rainy days, you may be doing work inside the Banquet facility. Small, odd jobs, cleaning, and
computer work.
Key activities and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Any work associated with general appearance and upkeep of the RV Park and Banquet Hall.
- Mowing the grass throughout the RV Park and outside the Banquet Centre
- raking grass, leaves, and branches.
- Cleaning washrooms
- Painting
- Planting flowers, picking weeds, and spreading mulch
- Sweeping sidewalks
- Pruning trees
- Picking garbage
- Various string-trimming detail work
- Any other work associated with general appearance and upkeep of the RV Park and Banquet Hall.
- And any other duties as required.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Pleasant personality and positive outlook.
- Dependable and punctual, Mus have own transportation.
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn new skills.
- A commitment to learning, safety consciousness and compliance is essential.
- Work time frame May 2025 – September 2025
On top of an hourly wage $2.00 an hour will be paid directly to your post-secondary schooling.
