What to Expect
As the Operations Specialist you will be an essential member of our dynamic fast-paced team. This is a pivotal role, where you will be managing and optimizing the day-to-day finance operations that support vehicle sales, delivery, service, collision and financial processes across both new and used cars. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized with strong communication skills essential for engaging with customers and a readiness to take on growing responsibilities in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do-
Your primary responsibility is to safeguard the financial integrity of our process. This means consistently verifying full payment for every vehicle departing, regardless of the delivery, service or collision channel. This crucial role ensures securing the appropriate payment, protecting our revenue, and mitigating financial risks

Act as the lead for resolving revenue recognition cases. You will oversee payment operations for your sites, including payment allocations, overpayments, and underpayments

Maintain a strong rapport with your local Sales, Service and Delivery teams, collaborating effectively to ensure seamless vehicle sales and delivery processes. Streamlining the finance customer experience in an effective manner

Proactively identify and contact customers via outbound calls to address overdue account issues

Oversee all financial operations activities across your customer portfolio, including finance applications, purchase orders, and funding — while working closely with B2C and B2B Account Managers to continuously identify and implement process improvement initiatives

Implement and monitor compliance with all internal policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and industry standards; serve as the final auditor on all transactions

Proactively anticipate and address potential issues, escalating concerns to the appropriate Account Managers as needed to maintain customer satisfaction and financial operational readiness
What You'll Bring-
Proven track record in stakeholder management within a fast-paced operations or finance environment

2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, delivery, automotive finance, or operations

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with a commitment to financial accuracy, and good knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with collections, outbound customer contact, or contact centre operations is an asset

Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment

Must maintain a valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s license for Canada
