Job Title: Barista / Customer Support (Part-Time)
Location: Beaver Rock Café – Downtown Barrie
Hours: 12–20 hours per week
Schedule: Shifts vary throughout the week and include some weekends
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Barista / Customer Support team member to join our café. If you enjoy connecting with people, love great coffee, and take pride in delivering excellent service, we’d love to meet you!
You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the café. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a positive, team-focused environment and is flexible with scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and light food items
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following food safety standards
- Restock supplies and assist with general café upkeep
- Support team members with customer orders and café operations
Requirements
- Barista experience preferred
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate preferred
- Friendly, customer-focused, and dependable
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must have availability for some weekend shifts
Availability
This is a part-time position (15–20 hours per week) with varied shifts throughout the week, including some weekends.
