Role Overview:
The student will join the Digital portfolio, a team dedicated to advancing the organization’s strategic digital transformation efforts. This role exists to support project management and implementation activities that enhance information flow, digital tools, and clinical operations. The student will contribute meaningful insights, analysis, and coordination that help move priority digital initiatives forward. Through this placement, the student will gain hands-on exposure to large-scale healthcare transformation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project management tasks such as scheduling, documentation, task coordination, meeting preparation, and status reporting.
- Contribute to evaluation activities including defining measures, supporting data collection plans, conducting analysis, and preparing reports.
- Conduct research and environmental scans related to digital health innovations, best practices, and technology trends.
- Develop or refine workflow maps, requirements, and process documentation to support digital solution design.
- Assist with change management activities including communication materials, stakeholder engagement, and training support.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and visual materials to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between digital initiatives and organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program in Health Informatics or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of health informatics concepts including data standards, digital health systems, and information flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data interpretation and evaluation methods.
- Ability to document processes, synthesize information, and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks, timelines, and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with comfort engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders.
